An evening of Black Excellence, Culture, and Community await you! Join us for the third Wakanda Ball that benefits deserving organizations and programs that benefit the African American community in Alaska. This year we focus on the Mobile Classroom educating our youth and Economic Empowerment Funding for black owned businesses.

Brought to you in partnership with Alaska Black Business Directory, Umoja Coworking & Incubator, and Juneteenth Anchorage with partial proceeds benefiting the African American Mobile Classroom which taken students from Alaskan to prominent historical site during the civil rights movement each summer. This years event will feature Calvin Martyr from the Blackout Coalition (an economic powerhouse who mobilized the country to support black owned businesses) and the 400 Years of African American History Commission (develops and facilitates activities throughout the United States, commemorating the 400th anniversary of the arrival of Africans in the English colonies at Point Comfort, Virginia in 1619.)

 

Doors open at 6pm

Program starts at 7pm

Program ends at 10pm

 

This event will feature delicious food catered by Anchorage's black owned food establishments, black business and organization vendors, dynamic speakers, and entertainment. All attendees will receive a gift bag with the option to win additional door prizes and participate in our NEW silent auction.

 

Tickets $75 for individuals (includes dinner for 1 and themed gift bag)

Bronze-$500 (includes 1 table of 6, table name sign, name in the program)

Silver-$750 (includes 1 table of 6, table name sign, 1/4 ad in the program, stage shout out)

Gold-$1000 (includes 1 table of 6, 3 additional tickets, table name sign, 1/2 ad in the program, name displayed on stage during the event, social media shout out)

Platinum-$1500 (includes wo tables of 6, table name sign, full page ad in the program, name displayed on stage at event, logo on the flyer, name on radio/tv/social media cohost)
